There are various services offered to NZSCTA members ranging from formal to informal, frequent to infrequent and local to national.
Membership Categories
Category 1 - Coach Member or Life Member
This is available to Life Members, and all swimming coaches holding National Swimming Coaching qualifications under the NZ Swimming Coaching Education structure. Coaches with overseas qualifications living in New Zealand will need to have all overseas qualifications verified. Swim Teaching qualifications will also be recognized for these members.
Members must agree to the ‘Code of Conduct’ and ‘Police check’ prior to the acceptance as a member of NZSCTA. See registration form

- Voting member of NZSCTA
- Can stand for any committee within NZSCTA
- Access to members area of NZSCTA website
- Eligible to attend NZSCTA Conferences

- Access to professional development activities
- Eligible for selection to National Swimming teams (subject to selection criteria)
- Eligible for NZSCTA mentoring programme
- Eligible to apply for annual scholarship funding.
- Priority Access to pool deck at National meets
- Receive automatic qualification updates for coaches
- Use of NZSCTA logo as per ‘Endorsement policy’.
