Review of SNZ High Performance Programme
June 2011
Sport & Recreation New Zealand (SPARC) has invested $6M of high performance funding into Swimming New Zealand (SNZ) during the 4 years from 2007 to 2010. New Zealand has not won a swimming medal at either the Worlds (LC) or Olympic Games in that time.
That lack of success combined with objective performance data and a critical review following the Delhi Commonwealth Games has led SPARC to commission a review of SNZ's high performance programme.
The review has been carried out by Chris Ineson of Driving Forces and the report released. Please go here for a full copy of the report. SNZ's press release is also available here.
